1. Assistant Professor Forensic Medicine & Toxicology (17 Posts)
This is a golden chance for doctors who have done a PhD, M.Phil or even a Minor Diploma in Forensic Medicine.
Required Qualifications (First Preference)
- MBBS + D.Sc / PhD / M.Phil (Pak) in Forensic Medicine OR equivalent qualification registered with PMC
- Original research papers in standard medical journals will give you extra marks
- Teaching experience in a recognised medical college will be preferred
If no one with the above qualifications applies:
- MBBS + Postgraduate Minor Diploma in Forensic Medicine
- 3 years of teaching experience as a Demonstrator
- Research publication will again give an advantage
2. Assistant Professor Anaesthesia (17 Posts)
Anaesthesia is one of the most in-demand specialties in Punjab right now — 17 posts prove it!
Required Qualifications (First Preference)
- MBBS + FCPS / MS / MD / MRCP / FRCS / Diplomat American Board in Anaesthesia
- OR equivalent qualification recognised by PMC
Second Preference (if no one with above):
- MBBS + FCPS / MS / MD in General Medicine or General Surgery
- PLUS 3 years practical experience in Anaesthesia in a recognised institute
Important Notes That Most Candidates Miss
- Your PMC registration must be valid till 08-12-2025. If expired, attach proof of renewal application.
- Only teaching/research experience after your postgraduate qualification will be counted.
- Experience from private hospitals will be accepted only if it is recognised and issued by the PMC.
- Contract/Ad-hoc/Acting Charge experience in the government sector is acceptable.
- Transgender candidates will be treated according to their CNIC.
