Friends! It is November 29, 2025. The weekend is here. I am relaxing with my family. But I want to share this new PPSC advertisement first. It is Ad 45/2025 from Punjab Small Industries Corporation. They need one Assistant Civil Engineer (also called Assistant Director Civil) and five Office Assistants (which include Sales Assistant, Supervisor, or Survey Inspector). The last date to apply is December 12. I remember when I applied for a government job years ago. It was exciting but a bit scary. I helped my brother prepare, too. He got selected after hard work. If you have the qualifications, go for it. You might regret not trying.
These jobs are good for young people. Punjab Small Industries helps small businesses like handicrafts and factories. The engineer's role involves planning buildings. The office roles handle sales, checks, and daily tasks. Pay for an engineer is BS-17 (around 80,000 to 120,000 rupees starting). For office assistants, it is BS-16 (60,000 to 100,000 rupees). Postings can be anywhere in Punjab. Government jobs give security. I like that. My friend works in a similar role. He says the training makes you confident.

Jobs are open to males, females, and transgender individuals. Apply online at ppsc.gop.pk. The fee is 600 rupees. After selection, you do training. It is required by the corporation.

This job is for one person. No special quotas.
Education: You need a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. It must be the First Division. The university should be recognized by HEC. Also, you must be a member of the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience: None is required. But after getting the job, you will have training or an exam.
Age: For men, 21 to 33 years. For women, 21 to 36 years.

For experience in office roles, private is fine. But show proof of registration.
Tips to Succeed in the PPSC Test
The test is 100 MCQs. Time is 90 minutes.
For an engineer: Study civil topics like surveying, materials, and structures. Also general knowledge, English, and math.
For the office: Focus on your subject. Plus Pakistan affairs, basic computer.
Practice daily. I did that. It helped.
Books: For an engineer, Punmia Surveying, Khurmi Materials. For the office, Robbins Business, Gupta Statistics.
Do mocks. Use apps like PPSC Prep. Aim for 70 marks.
In an interview, be confident. Talk about your skills.
My plan: Study the syllabus for 30 days. Practice MCQs for 15 days. Mocks 10 times. Revise last week.
Join Facebook groups like PPSC Jobs Punjab. They share tips.
One time, my friend forgot the PEC proof. He got rejected. Check everything.
