Shrimp Farm Project Jobs 2026 in Muzaffargarh – 20 PPS-2 Punjab Government Vacancies

If you live in or around Muzaffargarh and have been on the hunt for a government job that doesn’t require a degree, today’s your day. The Punjab Government has just posted 20 vacancies under the “Establishment of Shrimp Farms at Rakh Ali Wali, Muzaffargarh” project,  and most of these only require basic literacy or Matric. The deadline is April 16, 2026, so you’ve got more than six weeks, but I would still advise you to put your application in sooner rather than later. These Shrimp Farm Project Jobs 2026 in Muzaffargarh were officially posted on March 1, 2026, through the Punjab Government jobs portal.

What Is This Project?

The Shrimp Farm project at Rakh Ali Wali in Muzaffargarh is under the Dera Ghazi Khan Division and is a Punjab Gov’t project in the aquaculture and fisheries sector. Shrimp farming is an area of agricultural investment on the rise in southern Punjab of Pakistan, and forming a farm of this scale requires a full support team,  which is why they’re hiring in so many categories at the moment. All are contract positions, PPS-2 level, and on the back of salaries ranging from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, depending on the role.

Tractor Operator 2 PPS-2 Rs. 45,000 – 50,000 Matric + Valid Driving License 18 – 35

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply for What

Janitor (5 Posts): Just basic literacy is required. If you can read and write, you're eligible. Age limit is 18 to 35. With 5 seats available, this is one of the more accessible openings in the entire advertisement. Both men and women can apply.

Lab Helper (2 Posts): You need a Matric with Science subjects, passed in at least 2nd division. This is a slightly more specific requirement — your SSC certificate needs to show Science as your group, and your result card needs to reflect 2nd division or above. Age limit here is tighter: 18 to 25 only. If you've recently passed Matric with Science and you're within that age range, apply immediately.

Office Boy (3 Posts): Same as Janitor — basic literacy is sufficient. The age limit is 18 to 25. Three seats and a low education bar make this a realistic opening for younger candidates in Muzaffargarh who are just entering the job market.

Chauffeur (8 Posts): This is the largest batch with 8 seats. You need a Middle pass (8th class certificate), a valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) driving license, and 3 years of driving experience. The age limit is 18 to 35. If you're an experienced driver in the Muzaffargarh area with a proper license, this is a solid opportunity — eight seats means the selection pool is wide and your chances are genuinely decent.

Tractor Operator (2 Posts): Matric is required along with a valid driving license and 3 years of tractor operation and maintenance experience. You also need to have passed a tractor test. This role pays the highest in the ad at Rs. 45,000 to 50,000 per month. If you have the license, the experience, and the tractor test clearance, apply for this one specifically.

Age Limits Summary

Janitor, Chauffeur, and Tractor Operator positions are age 35 and below. Lab Helper and Office Boy positions have a tighter age limit of 25 years. All positions are age 18 and above. Age relaxation details are not mentioned in this posting; age will be calculated on the basis of the closing date of the application, which is April 16, 2026.

Required Documents

  • Attested copy of CNIC
  • Attested copy of educational certificate (literacy proof / Matric certificate as applicable)
  • Domicile certificate (Muzaffargarh district preferred given project location)
  • Valid LTV driving license (mandatory for Chauffeur applicants)
  • Valid driving license + tractor test certificate (mandatory for Tractor Operator applicants)
  • Experience certificate/reference letter if available (especially for driving/tractor roles)
  • Passport-size photographs (recent)
  • Result card / DMC for Lab Helper (must show Science group and 2nd division or above)

How to Apply – Step by Step

Step 1: Identify which position you're eligible for based on your education, age, and any required license or experience.

Step 2: Collect all required documents listed above. Get attested copies prepared from a gazetted officer or notary — unattested documents are a common reason for rejection.

Step 3: Fill out the application form. The job was posted on the Punjab Jobs portal, and applications should be submitted through the official channel at jobs.punjab.gov.pk.

Step 4: For driving and tractor roles, make absolutely sure your license is valid and not expired. An expired license means instant disqualification regardless of your experience.

Step 5: Submit before April 16, 2026. Don't wait for the last few days — submit at least a week early to avoid any portal or technical issues.

❓ Confused About the Application Process?

Many candidates get rejected not because they are ineligible, but because of small mistakes:

  • Incorrect domicile mention
  • Missing attestation on documents
  • Wrong quota selection
  • Incomplete form fields
  • Age miscalculation
  • Expired driving license submitted (for Chauffeur / Tractor Operator roles)

Deadline Reminder

The closing date is April 16, 2026. All five position categories were posted today — March 1, 2026 — so you have about six and a half weeks.
