Fauji Fertiliser Company FFC Apprenticeship Program 2026 – Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, IT Trades

Fauji Fertiliser Company Limited (FFC) has opened applications for its 2-Year Apprenticeship Program across four plant locations in Punjab and Sindh. This is not a small local recruitment - FFC is one of Pakistan's largest fertiliser producers, and this apprenticeship runs under the Punjab Apprenticeship Act-2021 and Sindh Apprenticeship Act-2023, giving it official legal standing. Trades available include Chemical Plant Operator, Mechanical Technician, Instrument Technician, Electrical Technician, Laboratory Analyst, and Computer Operator. If you have a DAE diploma or FSc and want hands-on industry experience at a top Pakistani company, this is genuinely worth your time. We also have WAPDA Diamer Basha Jobs 2026 listed if you are exploring other technical opportunities.

One thing to understand upfront - this is an apprenticeship, not a permanent job. But two years at FFC facilities in Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad, Mirpur Mathelo, or Port Qasim Karachi gives you documented industrial experience at a company that carries real weight on any CV. The age limit is under 28 years as of 09 November 2026, and the last date to register is 28 July 2026 at careers.ffc.com.pk.

Eligibility Criteria

Read this section carefully before you apply. FFC has set some specific conditions, and ignoring them will waste your time.

  • Must be under 28 years of age as on 09 November 2026 - candidates 28 or older on that date are not eligible
  • Must have at least 2nd division in Matric (Science) with the relevant qualification for your chosen trade
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Engineering Degree holders are NOT eligible - this program is specifically for diploma and FSc level candidates
  • Those already undergoing or who have completed an apprenticeship in any industry need not apply
  • Apply in one trade only - duplicate applications will not be entertained
  • Any false or incomplete information may lead to disqualification at any stage

The degree holder exclusion is worth noting. If you have a BE or BSc Engineering, this program is not for you - look at our WAPDA Diamer Basha Jobs 2026, which had openings for degree holders in technical fields.

Plant Locations

FFC will place selected apprentices at one of four plant locations. You do not get to choose your location - FFC will assign based on trade requirements and plant needs. The four locations are:

  • Goth Machhi - FFC's main fertiliser plant in Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan district, Punjab
  • Sadiqabad - Rahim Yar Khan district, Punjab
  • Mirpur Mathelo - Ghotki district, Sindh
  • Port Qasim, Karachi - Sindh

If you have a location preference, you can mention it, but placement is ultimately at FFC's discretion. Make sure you are genuinely willing to relocate before applying - these are residential plant postings. For other technical jobs currently open in Punjab, our PPSC Sub Engineer Jobs post is worth checking if you hold a DAE Civil diploma.

How to Apply - Step by Step

There are two parallel steps - both are required. Missing either one means your application is incomplete.

Step 1 - Register on the FFC Portal:

  1. Go to careers.ffc.com.pk
  2. Register and submit your bio data and academic qualifications (SSC/HSSC/Diploma)
  3. Click "I accept" under the Statement of Declaration on the " Submit Your Resume " page
  4. Select your trade - one only - by clicking Apply at the end of the relevant category
  5. Complete this before 28 July 2026

Step 2 - Register on NTS:

  1. Go to www.nts.org.pk
  2. Apply online for the FFC Apprenticeship written test
  3. Download your fee challan and pay through any of the available payment channels
  4. Keep your NTS registration confirmation safe
Important: Both steps are mandatory. Registering only on the FFC portal without NTS registration - or vice versa - will not complete your application. Do both.

FAQs

What is the last date to apply?

28 July 2026. Register on both careers.ffc.com.pk and www.nts.org.pk before this date. Do not wait until the last day, as online portals can get slow near deadlines.

Can I apply for more than one trade?

No. The advertisement clearly states apply in one trade only. Duplicate applications will not be entertained and may lead to disqualification.

I have a BE degree - can I apply?

No. Bachelor's, Master's, and Engineering degree holders are explicitly not eligible for this apprenticeship program. It is designed for DAE diploma and FSc level candidates only.

What are the NTS test dates?

14 June 2026 is the first test date, and 5 July 2026 is the second. Shortlisted candidates can appear in either or both. NTS will inform you of your nearest test centre after registration.

Will I get TA/DA for the interview?

Yes. Candidates called for final interviews at FFC Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad, Lahore, or Karachi will be reimbursed TA/DA as per FFC company policy.

Is this a permanent job?

No. This is a 2-year apprenticeship program. However, completing an apprenticeship at FFC - one of Pakistan's top companies - gives you strong industrial experience and a recognised certificate that carries real value in the job market.

How do I pay the NTS test fee?

Through 1Link, 1Bill participating banks, ATM, internet banking, mobile banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or TCS Express Counters. Download your fee challan from nts.org.pk after registration. For help, call 051-8444441.

Final Thoughts

FFC apprenticeship is one of those programs that actually means something on your CV. Two years inside Pakistan's top fertiliser company plants - working alongside engineers, learning industrial processes hands-on - is real experience. The NTS test adds a fair merit-based selection layer. If you have a DAE diploma in any of the relevant technologies or an FSc Pre-Engineering, and you are under 28, this is worth applying for seriously.

Register on both portals - careers.ffc.com.pk for your bio data and nts.org.pk for the written test. Last date is 28 July 2026, but the NTS test dates of 14 June and 5 July 2026 are coming sooner, so start your NTS registration early. Pick one trade, fill everything correctly, and submit. Good luck.
